The management and staff at Giles Island offer a 3 day/6 sessions bowhunt scheduled between Oct.1 and before Thanksgiving, 2016. Giles Island is located at Ferriday, La. and honors both LA and MS license holders. The auction winner of this bowhunt will experience the magic of the Mississippi Delta at the famous This 9,400-acre island, with 2,000 acres dedicated to archery only, consistently provides some of the largest fair-chase whitetails in the South. More than a decade of sound QDM practices has resulted in a 1:1 buck to doe ratio and an average score for trophy bucks over 140 P&Y. This fully guided (1X1), 3 days, 3-night archery hunt will be captured on film and includes the opportunity to harvest one trophy buck, one management buck, and one doe. Luxurious accommodations, wonderful southern meals, and any/all trophy fees are included. They have increased their average Boone & Crockett score from 120 B&C to 140 B&C.
