**Driving Directions to Little River Bowman Archery Club

DIRECTIONS COMNG FROM HATTIESBURG MS:

Take 98 west into Columbia. Take left at first red light. Go 6 miles to game reserve road take right on game reserve road. Go 1.3 miles to archery range on right. Sign says little river bowmen archery club. Go down dirt road to range.

DIRECTIONS FROM LUMBERTON, MS:

Take 13 north to where 13 and 43 cross take left at Marion county wildlife management area sign. Follow road to lake Columbia go past lake Columbia will be next gravel road on left sign says little river bowmen archery club. Go down dirt road to range.

Roosevelt State Park conveniently located between Meridian and Jackson, Mississippi, offers an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities in a picturesque setting. The park's scenic overlook provides a panoramic view of the Bienville National Forest. The gently sloping landscape is particularly striking during the fall, when the forest is bright with autumn colors.

Red River Bowman Archery Club 3-D Schedule for 2010

Red River Bowmen Archery Club, Inc., 4099 Ratcliff Rd., Shreveport, La. Will hold their 3-D Shoots on the 4th Sunday of each Month starting with March through August, 2010.  (Mar 18, Apr 25, May 23, June 27, July 25, Aug. 22)

CALIFORNIA START  9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (CARDS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 3:30 PM)

FEES:  $15 Trophy Round Adult; $15 Trophy Round Youth (12-17); $10 Trophy Round Cub  (8-11); PeeWee (under 8) FREE – $35 FAMILY ($5 each after 3)

FUN (Practice) ROUND (no awards)  $10  -- PRO MONEY ROUND $25 (50% Payback)

CLASSES:  MEN- Pro, Bowhunter, Open, Traditional  -- WOMEN – YOUTH – CUB  - PEEWEE
PARENT OR ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED FOR EACH CUB OR PEEWEE.
MUST BE AT LEAST THREE SHOOTERS IN A CLASS FOR TROPHY except Youth, Cub & PeeWee

BONUS AWARD:  RED RIVER BOWMEN “SHOOTER OF THE YEAR” AWARD based on point system during 3-D season.

Grenada Bowhunters Association range directions are as follows, from I-55 take the Grenada exit , go EAST on HWY 8 to Grenada Lake, go to the NORTH end of the dam , from there folllow the 3-D signs. Directions to South Mississippi Bowhunters 3-D Archery Range:

From Hattiesburg, come down Hwy 98 to Hwy 63 in Lucedale.  Take Hwy 63 south to the George-Jackson County line and take a right on Old Americus Rd.  Follow Old Americus Rd about 1.5-2 miles.  Range will be on left.

From Wiggins-Poplarville- Take Hwy 26 to Hwy 63 then go South and follow previous directions.

From Coastal Area (Moss Point, Biloxi, Gulfport, etc)  Take I-10 to Hwy 63 (exit 69) go north to George-Jackson county line.  Take Left on Old Americus Rd.

Driving Directions to Learned:

From Jackson:      I-20 West to Hwy 18 South [Raymond Road]. Go through Raymond;take right on Oakley-Palestine Road [sign--Brown Loam Experiment Station]. Turn left on Learned/Oakley Road at Oakley Training School. Cross three bridges and turn right into pasture. Bowshoot is on top of the hill through the pines.

From Vicksburg:        Go South on Hwy 61 [Hwy 27 south of I-20] past Big Black River, take left on Canada Crossroads and follow to dead end. Left on Old Port Gibson Road. Take right on Learned Road after going under Natchez Trace and go to dead end. Turn left on Front Road, one mile on left turn into Pasture and go to top of hill through pines.   

Driving Directions to Enid:   From I-55: Take Exit 233 14 miles south of Batesville, MS and go 1 mile on Enid Dar Rd [CR 36], then south across the top of the dam 2 miles and follow the signs.

Driving Directions to Water Valley :

From Memphis:     Exit I-55 taking the Oxford exit. Stay on Hwy. 6 until you get to the Water Valley exit. Exit onto Hwy. 315 heading toward Water Valley. Go to old fairgrounds and 3-D signs will be posted by the road to lead you to the shoot.

From Jackson:     Exit I-55 turning onto Hwy. 7 past Grenada. Go to the Water Valley exit. Turn on Hwy 315 at convenience store and go to the old fairgrounds. 3-D signs will be posted by the road to lead you to the shoot.
