Below are Images of Bow-Harvested Animals from the 2010-2011 Bowhunting Season
(Page 1)

Mississippi Bowhunters Association Area Director Donny Guest of Oxford, MS took this majestic 6 X 6 Montana Elk on "Labor Day". Donny had a cow at 8 feet directly to his immediate left and 7 more cows at 12 feet to his right with this bull at only 10 yards. According to Donny, the whole event happened in a thicket where you could not see over 30 yards and this total bowhunting adventure lasted only ~8 minutes. "It was nerve racking to say the least" but Donny was able to 'pull it off'. "GOD was good to Donny!"

Congratulations Donny on harvesting such a majestic animal.

Donny was using a Mathews Z7 bow and a Montec G5 125 grain broadheads. His shot was at 10 yards and the bull only ran 100 yards before going down for good. Donny's G5 broadhead made a complete pass through the large bull. Donny's 5 X 5 bull had a green score of 360 7/8 P&Y inches. Congratulations again Donny and thanks for sharing your good fortune with our bowhunting community.
