Below are Images of Bow-Harvested Animals from the 2009-2010 Bowhunting Season
(Page 5)

Pictured above is MBA Web Master and MBA Life Member Joe R. Bumgardner, M.D. with his 2009 opening morning week 150 P&Y class buck taken at Willow Point/Tara Wildlife near Vicksburg, MS on 10-05-2009. Joe took a 26 yard slightly quartering toward him shot achieving a lung entrance and a liver/gut exit wound. The 200 pound 3 1/2 year old (the jawbone was removed for aging) ran only 45 yards before going down for good. Joe's buck was a main frame 10 point with one scoreable sticker point (making it officially a 11 point). The official P&Y green score was 148 2/8 P&Y inches. Joe's buck had a 17 inch interior spread and 24 1/2 inch main beams. Joe was shooting a BowTech/Diamond Black Ice bow and GoldTip XT hunter carbon arrows tipped with a Magnus Snuffer 125 grain broadhead, Tru-Glo sights and a Quality Archery Design HD UltraRest arrow rest. It is magnificent whitetails like this that keeps us going back to the woods each and every season.
