(Page 17)

Pictured above is MBA member William Wixon of Hernando, MS with his fine Texas Island 8 point 3 1/2 year old #220 bow kill buck that he arrowed on a recent morning hunt (9:35 AM) while hunting near Lula, MS. William took a 20 yard shot and made a double lung hit. William's buck only traveled ~100 yards after the shot. His buck had an 16.5 interior spread and green scored 120 P&Y inches. William was shooting an Archery Research AR34 PSE bow with PSE Dominator arrows and a 100 grain Steelforce broadhead. Congratulations William on taking your quality buck and thanks for sharing your good fortune with our bowhunting community. (Below is Williams's brief personal comment on this bowhunting experience.)

"I shot this 8 point buck at about 20 yards on 12/10/09, at 9:30am.  He had been running does all morning and ended up running by my stand late in the morning.  Thanks to Micheal Young for helping me get him out. He's got the little brow tine disease that some of these deer have .
