Below are Images of Bow-Harvested Animals from the 2009-2010 Bowhunting Season
(Page 1)

To get the 2009-2010 bowhunting season started, there is no better way than to take a mature wild boar hog with traditional archery equipment. That is exactly what MBA member and Area Director J.J. Brock did while bowhunting on his own land in Walthall County near regional to McComb, MS. This mature wild boar was in the #250 live weight range. J.J. made a 20 yard lung shot and the wild boar only traveled approximately 30 yard from the point of impact before going down for good! Congratulations J.J. on taking such a fine animal with your traditional equipment and thanks for sharing your good forturn bowhuning experience with our bowhunting community.

Equipment used:
Bow: Ben Pearson Recurve-45#
Arrows: Wooden Shafts
Broadheads:  Glue-on Magnus 4 Blade 125 grain
Sights: None (Instinctive shooting)
Release Aid: None-finger tab
