MBA Area Director Warren Kennedy from Jackson, MS, took this fine Kansas buck on November 4, 2007. Congratulation Warren on taking this fine Kansas buck and thanks for sharing your experience with our bowhunting community. Below are the details of Warren's harvest experience.


In his own words, Warren said "On day one of our hunt in Kansas, I rattled in this tall eight point, but couldn't get a shot. On day three, I was fortunate to get a shot at him from another stand. After a difficult trailing job, I was able to claim my buck on the following morning, November 5th. This buck grosses 132 and nets 127 P&Y."

Distance Animal Traveled from Shot to Recovery: 1 mile by GPS

Type of Shot: gut shot, arrow angling into leg
P&Y Score: green score, 132 gross, 127 net
Equipment Used: Matthews SQ2, 100 grain three blade Muzzys, Gold Tip 5575 arrows
