Congratulations are in order for Emily Cade and her father, Dr. James Cade. Dr. Cade relates their recent experience in Macon, MS. Below is Dr. Cades personal account of their Macon, MS bowhunting experience. Thanks to Emily and Dr. Cade for sharing their bowhunting adventure with our bowhunting community.

It was a successful Father/Daughter Bowhunt at Macon, Mississippi. Wayne Stewart donated the hunt at the 2007 February MBA banquet. Dr. James Cade was high bidder and took 14 year old Emily on the late season bowhunt. Wayne Stewart excelled at hospitality and guiding. The lodging and accomodations were first rate. Emily wasted no time in getting on the scoreboard with a fine whitetail doe on the first morning of the two days we were able to hunt. She shot eight times at deer and hogs and had a great time with her dad, who missed on his opportunity at a bobcat. This was Emily's third season to bowhunt and her third whitetail bow harvest. She made no bow harvest last year but harvested a doe and a 5 point two years ago when she started bowhunting at age 12. She is pictured with her dad and her doe.
