MBA President Jason Jason Johnson took this 3 year old 165 pound 8 point @ 8:00AM on Christmas morning (2007) while hunting in Walthall County. His shot was at 27 yards and he was using Easton Axis 340 arrows with a 100 grain shuttle t lock broadhead and a BowTech General bow set @ 72 pounds. Jason's 8 point had a 15 inch spread and was a very nice buck for Walthall County. The deer was walking the edge of a block of "Katrina" blown timber and fresh cutover. Congratulation Jason on harvesting this fine Walthall County buck and thanks for sharing it with our bowhunting community.

 

On the very next day, (December 26, 2008) Jason took this 5 year old 11 point @ 7:30AM again while hunting in Walthall County. His shot was at 16 yards and he was using 55/70 Gold Tip arrows with a 100 grain shuttle t lock broadhead and a BowTech Tribute set @ 62 pounds. The deer unofficially scored 118 P&Y and was a super archery buck for Walthall County. The buck was following a 'hot' doe and walked right under Jason's stand. Congratulation Jason on harvesting this fine Walthall County buck and thanks for sharing it with our bowhunting community.

14. Equipment used. (Bow brand and model, arrow shaft, broadhead, sights etc.)
