Steve Edwards (Mississippi Bowhunters Association Life Member) from Water Valley, MS. took this fine 13 point mule deer recently (8-25-2007) while hunting in Colorado. Steve was on an evening hunt with his brother Mike (also a Life Member of the MBA) when he arrowed this magnificent 'mulie'. Steve made a 46 yard double lung shot that dropped his animal within ~50 yards from the point of impact. His mulie weighed 225 .lbs (live weight) and green scored 213+ P&Y. Steve was using a Ben Pearson Z34 bow and a 125 grain Slick Trick broadhead.

This is a great animal to open our 2007-2008 Mississippi Bowhunters Association photo-gallery showcase . Congratulations Steve on taking such a majestic animal and for sharing it with our bowhunting community.
